Influenced by abstract expressionism, Can Aksoy works with photographs, renderings, collages, drawings, and films. Through experimental photography and digital media, Aksoy is concerned with capturing the inner worlds/artefactual representations of the mind and eliciting the unconscious imagery. He uses alternative media as a research tool to explore the personal geographies of dreamscapes.
