Dr. Gindi is a German contemporary sculptor. Her work focuses on the infinity of human existence. She has had several exhibitions globally, including shows in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, United States and China. She is a member of the US National Sculpture Society. Gindi was selected for the 2021 Figurativas Painting and Sculpture Competition of the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona and the National Sculpture Society’s 2022 Annual Awards Exhibition at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina.
Professor Jill Marsden is Senior Lecturer on the BA English and Creative Writing programme. She studied as both an undergraduate and postgraduate at The University of Essex and began teaching at the University of Bolton in 1992.
She is the author of After Nietzsche: Notes Towards a Philosophy of Ecstasy (Palgrave 2002) and a range of other publications on Nietzsche, literary modernism, nineteenth century European thought and continental philosophy. Her research interests embrace all aspects of ‘literary thinking’, particularly the affinities between philosophy and literature.
