About Emanuel Gollob

With his art practice, Emanuel Gollob (AT) (b. 1991) bridges aesthetic research, human-A.I. interaction, neuroscience and robotics. The spectator’s emotions when perceiving his works are most important to him. With his works he explores different techniques of creating a moment of doing nothing. Gollob graduated at the University of Applied Arts Vienna with a diploma in Design Investigation (2019). His work has recently been exhibited at Laboral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial (Gijón, SP), Ars Electronica (Linz, AT) and Liedts-Meesen Foundation (Ghent, BE), among others. Currently, he is in residency at MindSpaces, an EU research project in the STARTS initiative framework. Since 2020, he is a PhD candidate and part of the Fashion and Robotics research team at the University of Art and Design Linz.
