Cheryl Safren’s science art has appeared in National Geographic Science, Hyle, Chemical & Engineering News, Seisma, ArttheScience, etc. She was guest speaker at an American Chemical Society convention held in Puerto Rico and was the keynote speaker at Junior Science Symposium held at Adelphi University.
Ten of her public art commissions are permanently installed across America. Six panels were commissioned by Aurora, Colorado and installed in its Tallyn’s Reach Municipal Building. Florida State commissioned Cheryl twice and has installed ten panels on their Tallahassee campus. University of Montana also commissioned the artist twice, and these panels were installed in Skaggs and the Chemistry Building. Eight panels were installed in the Sorenson Biotechnology Center on the University of Utah’s campus in Salt Lake City. Cheryl’s Reaction Diffusion Triptych was installed in Hach Hall by Iowa State University. In August of 2021, she installed 22 panels in Pearson Hall at Miami University in Ohio.

The Art & Science Research Center in Beijing created the book a Scientific World with Fancy Ideas which was published in 2023 by Tsinghua University Press. Chapter 2 pages 16-33 is Cheryl Safren and from April to July 2023 the Today Art Museum had an exhibition of the art in this book.
