Born and raised in New Orleans, LA., Brett Reif is influenced by arte povera and specializes in non-traditional media wall work, sculpture and installation. Brett Reif recently completed a 3-year residency at The Studios Inc. in downtown Kansas City. Reif has had recent exhibitions at the Spiva Arts Center in Joplin, MO, Weinberger Fine Art in Kansas City MO, The Studios Inc. in Kansas City, MO, and the Art & Design Gallery at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Reif’s work has been featured in The Kansas City Star, The University Daily Kansan, and the online magazines kcmetropolis.org and perversionmag.com. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Reif graduated from Loyola University with a BFA and received his MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
