Alexa Piotte is a Montreal-based graphic designer. Upon completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in 2017 majoring in Design and minoring in psychology, she continued to explore the relationship between the arts and the behavioural sciences by completing the project BDL: Mapping Out The Genetic Blueprint of the Fruit Fly Visual System in collaboration with Hunter Shaw, a Ph.D. candidate in biology at McGill University. As a graphic designer, her goal is to encourage innovation and creativity by continuously thinking outside the box.
